Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

Not as things stand. Rockstar's GTA VI site and its support page on platforms and editions list exactly two platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC isn't mentioned anywhere, not as a later release and not as a flat no.

So there's no PC pre-order and nothing official to wishlist. If Rockstar does bring GTA 6 to PC, expect a proper announcement, the same way GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 got theirs on the Rockstar Newswire.

When is the GTA 6 PC release date?

Rockstar hasn't said yet. Any PC date you've seen floating around didn't come from Rockstar. Until the Newswire or the GTA VI site says otherwise, GTA 6 is a console game.

How long did GTA 5 and RDR2 take to come to PC?

Rockstar has a habit of launching on console first and bringing the PC version later. Here's how that played out for its last two big releases, with dates taken from the Newswire. It's track record, not a GTA 6 schedule.

That's roughly 19 months between GTA 5's console and PC launches. The PC date itself slipped twice before the game finally arrived on April 14, 2015 with 4K and 60 FPS support. RDR2's PC version landed about a month after Rockstar announced it.

When will GTA 6 PC system requirements be revealed?

Rockstar hasn't said yet, and there's no official minimum or recommended spec list. The GTA 6 spec sheets doing the rounds online aren't from Rockstar.

For reference, GTA 5's PC requirements went up on January 13, 2015, about three months before the PC launch. For GTA 6, a PC version would need to be announced before any requirements show up.

Can my PC run GTA 6?

Nobody can honestly tell you yet. Without official requirements there's no GPU, CPU or RAM target to compare your rig against, and the same goes for gaming laptops. Any “can I run it” result for GTA 6 right now is a guess.

If you're planning a new build or a GPU upgrade purely for GTA 6, hold off until Rockstar publishes real numbers.

Will GTA 6 be on Steam or the Epic Games Store?

Rockstar hasn't said yet. With no PC version announced, there's no GTA 6 to buy or pre-order on Steam, the Epic Games Store or the Rockstar Games Launcher. Sites selling “GTA 6 PC keys” or free PC downloads are scams.

Should you buy a console or wait for GTA 6 on PC?

  • You want to play at launch: you need a PS5 (PS5 Pro included) or an Xbox Series X|S.
  • You only play on PC: you'll have to wait for Rockstar to announce a PC version, and there's no date to count down to.
  • You're eyeing a PC upgrade: wait for official requirements before spending money with GTA 6 in mind.
