If you're on PS5, you won't need PS Plus to play it once you own it. And the free month of GTA+ you get with a digital pre-order is just a bonus. It doesn't give you the game.

Is GTA 6 free with Game Pass Ultimate?
No. Ultimate doesn't unlock everything on the Xbox store, and GTA 6 isn't in the catalog. Microsoft also says the lineup changes by plan, platform and region, and over time. Already on Ultimate? You'll still need to buy GTA 6 to play it day one.

Do you need PS Plus to play GTA 6?
No. The PS5 store page lists GTA 6 as a single-player game with offline play and no PS Plus requirement.

PS Plus is mostly what you pay for online multiplayer, and the GTA 6 listing doesn't include any multiplayer mode right now. So there's nothing to pay PS Plus for yet.

Does GTA+ give you GTA 6?
No, it works the other way round. Pre-order the digital game and you get a month of GTA+ thrown in. Subscribing to GTA+ doesn't get you the game.
Watch the renewal, though. Once the free month is up it rolls into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the next billing date. On PlayStation you've got until March 31, 2027 to claim it; on Xbox you have to redeem it within 180 days of placing your pre-order.
